Overview
Craig & Rose 1829 Vintage Collection eggshell is a versatile, washable finish that is hardwearing with an elegant low sheen. This will be ideal for walls in high traffic areas such as halls and kids rooms as well as kitchens and bathrooms and is also the go to for all interior woodwork.
Craig & Rose have formulated an Eggshell with a beautifully subtle sheen of only 17%.

Tinted Colour Information
Tinted paint is custom mixed in house at Next Day Paint using our Craig & Rose tinting machine. We mix the paint on site, which means we can offer our usual fast delivery with no extra delay. Clean Up | Remove as much paint as possible from the equipment before cleaning with water |
Preparation
- Remove loose or flaking paint
- Fill cracks or holes with a filler and sand smooth
- Lightly abrade any silk, satin or glossy painted surfaces before painting over
- Clean and dust-off surfaces before painting
- Bare or porous surfaces will require sealing with
New dry plaster surfaces should be primed with a coat of Craig & Rose Primer Undercoat or other suitable wall primer
Chalky emulsion paint can be thinned slightly with 5-10% of clean water to counteract any excessive suction when being used directly on to plaster surfaces
Application
- Stir contents well before use with a broad, flat stirrer
- Cut in around the edges with a brush and then apply 2 coats with a high quality synthetic roller
- Ensure the previous coat is completely dry before over coating
- The paint will be fully cured in 7 days.
Note: This paint is not recommended for baths, splashbacks, floors or tiles.
If your radiators can become exceptionally hot, we recommend using a specialist paint.
All metals must be primed with an appropriate metal primer before painting.
If using packs with different batch numbers then blend before use
Do not apply in temperatures near freezing as this will seriously slow down the drying and may destroy the structure of the paint
Always follow manufacturer's instructions found on the tin
Aftercare & Storage
Store in a frost-free place and do not allow the paint to freeze
